The European Real Estate Society – ERES will provide a limited number of scholarships of EUR 500 for full-time doctoral students currently enrolled at a European University to present a paper in the doctoral session of the 27th Annual Conference which will be held in Tallinn, Estonia from July 1st – 4th.

The PhD Session will most likely take place on Wednesday July 1st (with the ERES PhD Network Reception on the evening of June 30th). Receipt of an ERES Scholarship will also entitle the holder to a refund of the early-bird-PhD conference fee (in addition to the EUR 500 scholarship) which includes a one year membership of ERES and access to the Journal of European Real Estate Research. Kindly note that you are expected to settle registration and payment of your expenses for the conference in advance. The refund will take place after participation in the ERES 2020 conference.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must complete this application form

Decisions for acceptance will be based where you are in the thesis process. You are not eligible if you have received the ERES PhD grant in the past 2 years
(conferences). Preference will be given to students that are graduating before June 2021. Applications are due no later than March 7th 2020 (CET, Midnight) and we will make acceptance decisions by March 26th, 2020. Kindly note that independently from the scholarship award you are expected to submit your abstract at this site.

PS. “Local students” within a 250km radius of Tallinn (Estonia) will receive no travel subsidy. However, a conference registration reimbursement may be granted  depending on circumstances. If your home institution is supporting your travel, accommodation and subsistence, the amount received from ERES will be reduced accordingly.
